About The Cabrera Family Haunted House

the Cabrera Family Haunted House is a family-run haunted house in Atlanta that is dedicated to raising funds for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Holiday Toy Program. We work tirelessly to design and build a new haunted house each year with new scares and surprises around every corner. The planning and building process takes over 500 hours...not to mention the hours spent building custom props.   We plan next halloween's theme on or By November 1st.

 

As many already know, we do not charge for admission into our house. For each visitor, our family puts $1 into our haunted house fund. We also accept donations via GoFundMe, Venmo, cash, and Zelle. All the money we raise goes into our fund. For the first time this year, we are adding a special QR code provided by CHOA for those who wish to purchase specific items for the hospital.  At Christmastime, when the two oldest kids are home from college, we go as a family and purchase gifts for the children in each of the 4 Children's Healthcare of Atlanta locations. Last year (2023) we raised over $32,000 and purchased over 2,440 gifts.  Our goal this year is to raise $30,000 again!

Our haunted house is an annual tradition for not only families in the area, but people who travel from out of town for the event.
